How You Can Help One by One

Following is information to help you discern whether joining One by One
is the volunteer service for you.

ACTIVITIES/FUNCTIONS

·   Parent education

·   Parent encouragement

·   Improve parenting skills

MEETING FREQUENCY/TIME/PLACE

Time Commitment: Time commitment for the mentor would be at least one per hour a month plus time for daily prayer for the mentee

TASKS/SKILLS

·  Make monthly visits to the homes of an expectant mother or new mother

·  Help the new mother develop a baby book which will help her to develop and/or improve her parenting skills

·  Help the parent strengthen and enhance family life through the church and its programs and resources
