Finance Council
 

                                                                            
Purpose: Serves as co-stewards with the pastor in allocating fairly our limited resources to enhance the spiritual growth of all of the parishioners.

If you have an idea or issue that you would like to present to the Finance Council, submit your item to the Finance Council by emailing fcouncil@ndparishkerrville.org  or contacting the Pastoral Center at 830 257 5961.

How You Can Help the Finance Council

Following is information to help you discern whether joining the Finance Council
is the volunteer service for you.

ACTIVITIES/FUNCTIONS

·  Prepare the annual budget through the input of the various parish ministries

·  Monitor the implementation and progress of the adopted budget and report to the pastor the status of the financial resources of the parish
 

MEETING FREQUENCY/TIME/PLACE

The Finance Council meets monthly (or more frequently if needed) usually the third Thursday of the month at 10 am in Kemper Hall

Time Commitment: Council Members commitment on average 2 hours per month. During the budgeting process or if unique financial situations arise, the time commitment can be somewhat greater.

TASKS/SKILLS

·  Pastor appoints members. 

·  Typically a member should have some proficiency of financial management
