Holy Sew-n-Sews

Purpose:
To provide sewn/embroidered/decorated articles made of fabric for
use at liturgies and other parish needs.

Following is information to help you discern whether joining the
Holy Sew-n-Sews Ministry is the volunteer service for you.

ACTIVITIES/FUNCTIONS

Purchase materials

Cut, sew, embellish as per
requirements

Provide instruction/classes in
use of swing machines, sergers, etc.

Peer instruction in needlework
(embroidery, crochet)
|

MEETING FREQUENCY/TIME/PLACE
Every other month
Third Monday from 6:00-7:00 pm or later if needed
Location varies
Time Commitment:
1-2 hours every other
month and as needed in own time to complete projects

- Shopping
- Following patterns
- Hand sewing, cutting, ironing
- Machine sewing
- Teaching by example
- Group participation
